Backing vocal arrangement
Live music performance
Studio vocal recording

Having performed at countless events and occasions over the past decade, and recorded backing vocals for regional artistes so many she can hardly keep track further, Susanna has come a long way to establish herself as one of the prominent names in the regional music industry, highly sought-after as a professional recording vocalist and vocal arranger for commercial projects and record albums. Susanna is vastly recognized for her rich vocal arrangements and versatile vocal performances as a professional backing vocal artiste-cum-arranger, or more-commonly known as chorus singer/arranger. On live stages, she has worked with big names including Wang Lee Hom, JJ Lin, Kit Chan, Aska Yang, Terry Lin (Lin Zhi Xuan), Chen Wei Lian and Francis Yip; and in studio, the exhaustive list of names include the likes of Miriam Yeung, Janice Vidal (Wei Lan), Michael Wong (Guang Liang), Jade Kwan and Kelly Poon.

In addition to her active engagements as a backing vocal artiste, Susanna currently performs regularly at Hood Bar and Cafe with partner Ling Kai in addition to her ad-hoc performance engagements with The Ark Music Cafe, while also singing at weddings, private functions and corporate events. Holding a degree majoring in both the English and Chinese language, Susanna is equally at home performing in both languages. Her wide ranging repertoire includes the latest Mandarin, Cantonese, English or Japanese ‘pop’-songs, lesser-known compositions from Chinese ‘Indie’ artistes, as well as the classic English jazz tunes and evergreen melodies. More recently, Susanna has sung the theme songs for several local TV drama serials.

Also a prolific songwriter whose songs can be found in regional commercial and compilation albums, Susanna has joined hands with fellow singer-songwriter Shaw Wong to stage a concert featuring only the original works written by the duo as part of the HUAYI Festival presented by the Esplanade. Over the past few years, Susanna has been frequently invited to guest-perform and speak at various songwriting events. Susanna is currently working with her cousin, renowned local arranger and theatre composer Bang Wenfu, on her first EP, featuring her original works, scheduled for launch later this year. Meanwhile, Susanna is a freelance Speech and Drama trainer while also teaching vocals at Ocean Butterflies Music Forest.
